Barkcloth Mary

Mary is our latest addition to the Outback collection. A 70's inspired floral design we think this would make a great into a cute little retro shift dress.

Inspired by the beautiful floral barkcloth fabrics of the 1940s and 1950s each fabric consists of stunning hand-painted floral designs printed on an exclusive cotton barkcloth base. These fabrics work equally well in dressmaking, craft projects, soft funishing and upholstery. The wider widths lending themselves perfectly to 50's style full dresses.

This version is printed on duck egg blue, a tricky colour to show in a photograph.

Each fabric is named after an 'Outback Wife' and aims tell the story of four Australian rural women.Outback Wife is an ode to the strength, passion and courage of rural women across Australia. We love this sentiment!

Fabrics are 145cm wide 
Add multiples and the fabric will be cut as a continuous piece.
